Within walking distance of Killarney’s Lakes and world-renowned National Park, the guesthouse provides a unique atmosphere of exceptional elegance and charm for the leisure and business traveller. Naturally, with such fine golf courses on our doorstep, golfers are particularly well catered for.
One of the best ways to explore the national park is the exceptional Gap of Dunloe trip. It involves a short bus transfer to Kate Kearney’s Cottage, from here you travel by horse or jaunting car through the famous Gap of Dunloe to Lord Brandon’s cottage where you meet an open boat that will bring you back through the beautiful lakes to Ross Castle. Here you are met by your bus for transfer back to us. There is also the option to hire bikes and do the trip in reverse.
With an abundance of lakes and rivers, Killarney is a fisherman’s paradise and we highly recommend Killarney Fishing Tours with Mick O’Brien for expert local advice.
Killarney Lodge is only 2 min walk from the town centre where you can enjoy a selection of wonderful cafe’s, restaurants and bars with something to suit every taste and pocket. There is live entertainment in most of the bars, starting from 9pm each evening and during the summer months there is street entertainment to enjoy as you stroll and enjoy the ambience.
